Little Isabel is the sweetest thing ever! When Emerson and Alex first reached out to me, they said that they had a new addition to their family and it was going to be her first time to the beach. I could tell that they were in love with her from our first conversations, but seeing them with her … I was about to burst.
Forty-five minutes before we were set to meet, a storm rolled in. I was in the parking lot early (story.of.my.life.) texting Cory with all of the, “Oh my gosh. This is horrible. What should I do? Where did this thing even come from? It’s been so beautiful! Should I call them and cancel?” He told me to wait it out, and holy smokes, I am glad we did. Emerson and Alex were such troopers and were completely unfazed by the massive, dark clouds. As soon as we started photographing (hoping and praying for the best), the clouds turned into the most evenly lit, pink sunset tones.
And, I died.
Emerson and Alex, thank you for being such troopers. You have made the most gorgeous family.
