Hi, I'm Kaylie b. poplin!
This is the place that I love to share recent camping trips with my family, thoughts on preserving our stories through portrait preservation and of course, family photoshoots on our renowned 30A beaches.

Little Isabel is the sweetest thing ever! When Emerson and Alex first reached out to me to be their Destin Fl photographer, they said that they had a new addition to their family and it was going to be her first time to the beach. I could tell that they were in love with her from our first conversations, but seeing them with her … I was about to burst. Alex’s mom was with us, too, and you could see love just overflowing from her to have her granddaughter.

Forty-five minutes before we were set to meet, a storm rolled in. I was in the parking lot early (story.of.my.life.) texting Cory with all of the, “Oh my gosh. This is horrible. What should I do? Where did this thing even come from? It’s been so beautiful! Should I call them and cancel?” He told me to wait it out, and holy smokes, I am glad we did. Florida weather for you! I always tell families that you never know what it is going to do. Even though I deal with it multiple nights a week for work, it still freaks me out, too! Ha!

Emerson and Alex were such troopers and were completely unfazed by the massive, dark clouds. As soon as we started photographing (hoping and praying for the best), the clouds turned into the most evenly lit, pink sunset tones – perfect for a sweet baby girl’s newborn session at the beach.

I died.

Emerson and Alex, thank you for being such troopers. You have made the most gorgeous family. What an honor it was to be your Destin Fl photographer!
