Hi friend! I am Kaylie. I am so glad you are here.
I know I've said it - but I vividly remember vacationing along the Florida Coast many Summers with my family. Grandparents, parents, sisters, aunt, uncle, cousins – all waking up under the same roof. I can still picture mornings waking up and begging the adults to take us down to the beach before the sun had even risen. (I know the feeling as an adult now being the one who is begged. Ha!) By day we swam in the salty water and at night we hunted white crabs on the beach with flashlights. These trips instilled in me a deep love for family that is still engrained in me to this day. The summer before I was a senior in high school and my parents told me that our family was moving to Florida. Not just anywhere in Florida – but the piece of Florida I grew up loving. I married a born and raised Florida boy. We have two daughters - one by birth and one by adoption along with our mini Sheltie.
So, welcome to this little slice of paradise.
