WHAT MAKES KAYLIE DIFFERENT

I have been a photographer for 10+ years. I began a personal project years ago of restoring my own family's generational pictures. this lead me to puchasing my own professional large format printer, investing into archival papers and studying preservation of family pictures.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of prints do you offer?

I offer three different types!
Lustre - Your everyday print for your favorite iPhone photos, photos to pop in a table side frame or just to have!
Archival - Made using 100% cotton paper and archival ink, these are for your family heirlooms that you want to pass down.
Artist - With hand torn edges and a gorgeous texture paper, these will make you gasp. Beautiful and fully archival, these are treasures.

Do you need the full size digitals to print?
I always recommend sending the largest file you have! If you aren't sure if the file is large enough send it anyway and I will let you know!

Is it okay if I only select a few archival prints?
Absolutely! Archival prints are for the pictures that you want to pass down for the next generation or for the artist eye. They are sturdy, printed on 100% cotton paper and have a noticably beautiful texture. For your everyday picture that you want to slide into an album or a frame, I recommend the lustre prints!

How do you recommend storing archival prints?
Each print comes in its only protective sealed sleeve that will protect against dust and scratches. For the longest lifetime of a print, store in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

what they're saying:

"Selecting photos is emotional. I have to keep saying, "What do I want O's children to know about us?" And that's a totally different photo from what you would think..."
