This family photoshoot in Panama City Beach, Florida is one of my annual favorites!!
Have you ever met someone you have long admired only to realize that they are just as wonderful in person as you imaged them to be? That is Emily! I have long loved Emily of Emily Morgan Brown. She has an incredible eye for detail and her use of raw materials when creating botanicals or portraits is just killer. She did a portrait of our oldest that is currently hanging on our wall in the living room that looks just like a photo. It is unreal. When people walk in they immediately gravitate towards it and admire her talent! But even more impressive has been getting to know her over the past couple of years. She is one of the most humble, laid back, generous and attentive people I have ever met. I also love watching her as a mom because the humor that she has with her three girls (two are twins!!) has a way of coming across as you are so cool to me.
It has become a highlight of mine to spend time with her family in Panama City Beach, FL for our annual photoshoots together. (You can see last year’s session here!)
They are also the most kind, down to earth, loving and welcoming group of people you could ever imagine. It is easy to see where Emily gets her personality and character from!
Last year and this year we had a “let’s just go out to the beach and take pictures of whatever happens” attitude and it is so refreshing – especially since last year we had a massive storm roll in during our session. They ended up making it look magical then and did this time as well!
Watching all of them together reminds me of days I spent at the beach with my grandparents, cousins, sisters, parents, aunt and uncle. These memories they are making are going to stay with them a lifetime and impact those babies more than they may realize.
