This is the place that I love to share recent camping trips with my family, thoughts on preserving our stories through portrait preservation and of course, family photoshoots on our renowned 30A beaches.

I am most drawn to the beach in the “off” times – sunrise, sunset, cooler months or in this case when a storm in rolling in. I wish I had my camera with me while I strolled this morning on the beach, but since I didn’t my iPhone was what I used! The beach was completely empty this morning as the storm was rolling in. The waves were much more furious than their still, emerald side. The wind was causing the sand to ripple and the crashing waves to foam. I couldn’t get enough of it! You don’t find these things on a cloudless, high noon Summer’s Saturday.

The patterns and different sensations that a storm brings in inspires me.
