I will be the first to admit that I am not good at going out on a limb or making mistakes. When Cory and I were first getting to know each other, we asked each other to describe the other in five words. I will never forget that one of his words for me was “careful.” I felt like I had been exposed because I was sure that that quality was well hidden.
I have avoided situations, sports, career moves in the past – you name it – if I had any fear that I may even possibly not succeed. It crippled my work for a long time.
I’ve found that giving myself permission to play has been the key to moving forward and combatting any hesitation to “quit while I am ahead.”
This little shoot was part of that! This past weekend R and I grabbed a few veggies from the store, tossed them in a wooden bowl I’ve had forever and went to shooting in our kitchen! It was so fun! Playing with the colors of the vegetables – the light (or lack of. Where are you sun??) and obviously her was nothing short of a treat!
Corey’s Aunt Dusty sent me these and I am absolutely in ❤❤❤!! Can Bugg come play on your kitchen counters?
