This is the place that I love to share recent camping trips with my family, thoughts on preserving our stories through portrait preservation and of course, family photoshoots on our renowned 30A beaches.

Photos are awesome.

Printing your photos is vital.

So, once you receive your family gallery – what’s next?

The next step is printing your portraits. (We all know regardless of what people say – what is posted on social media – aka your family pics – doesn’t last.) But how do you know what type of print works best for you?

Well, I’ll tell you!

Lustre Prints – These prints are your traditional prints but better! They are similar to those you would find at Walmart, Walgreens or online at places like Mpix but they have a guarantee against yellowing/fading for 50 years. These are perfect for quick images you want to pop in a frame and replace over time!

Archival Prints – Archival prints are made using 100% cotton paper and archival inks. They have a lifetime guarantee against yellowing and fading. You will be amazed at how thick they are compared to your standard lustre print. These are the prints that you will want to pass down for generations.

Artist Prints – These prints bring your portrait to life! With hand torn edges and a gorgeous texture, they are timeless beyond belief. Remember old family portraits you have seen? These hold the same punch. They are archival and come with a guarantee against yellowing or fading for 200 years but that’s not even the best part. When you hold one in your hand, you feel like you are holding a treasure that you want to preserve for the generations to come.
