This is the place that I love to share recent camping trips with my family, thoughts on preserving our stories through portrait preservation and of course, family photoshoots on our renowned 30A beaches.

A film photo of a little boy in his seaside outfit in 30A Florida.

If a portrait is worth taking … then it means it is worth printing.

We spend so much time and mental energy contemplating outfits, locations – you name it – but was it worth it if we receive a large gallery, become overwhelmed with the number of choices, post them online and never print them. At that point were the portraits more for everyone else’s enjoyment of seeing them rather than our own – having them displayed through our homes in frames or galleries?

I am currently printing the images (while the girls are suppose to be napping) we took in India when we picked up our sweet girl are all she has.

Not every session has that weight on it …… or does it?

We don’t know when this could be a last vacation (my family knows this reality full well with my Poppy) or the last year those little ringlets stay in tact.

If a portrait is worth taking – let’s be ones who do it right and have it printed to last lifetimes!
