The respect I have for moms has gone through the roof since I’ve watched my sister become a mom to the most beautiful child I’ve ever seen (Insert, bias opinions but truth 😉 ). The amount of energy, time and affection they lay down for their little human blows my mind. The protection moms flood their little persons with is what got my attention.
I know what the Bible says, but sometimes I feel like I have to scream at heaven to get the attention of Jesus. “Why don’t you hear me? Do you even care? Why did this happen? You obviously don’t care about me.”
And then I watch a mom with a little human that cannot give anything in return. I watch the hours that they rock, and all the child returns is tears. I watch the energy they put forth in providing every need, and all the child can return is disscontempt for the provision at times.
All of a sudden, I realize just how good He is to us His children even though we have nothing to return to Him.
All of you who are moms : You are killing it. You are raising that child incredibly. You are so good at it. You are insanely gorgeous with your hair up and exhausted eyes. You have opened my eyes to who He is through your selfless love. Thank you.
