When Tori of Victoria Austin Designs told me that she wanted to do her maternity session in Rosemary Beach, Florida, I was excited. I absolutely adore her! A little back story – Tori and I first met on Instagram. (Who does that, right? Ha!) Our styles and likes are insanely similar (as are our husbands. Lol), so the day I received an email and on the “sender” line I saw her name, I thought, “Oh my gosh… I’ve liked too many of her posts! She’s calling me out!” I couldn’t believe that she was reaching out to me because she liked my work!! I was fan girling! Who am I kidding? I am still fan girling. From that day on, she was the stylist for my seaside bridal shower, wedding invitation designer, wedding florist/sanity keeper and solid “you get me” friend. I was her branding photographer, family photographer and now growing family photographer.
When she told me she wanted maternity photos done, I was like, “Yesssss.” When told me her vision for these photos, I was like, “YASSSSSS.” Our session was the perfect collaboration of all things we both love – simplicity, neutrals, 30A (She got married in WaterColor!) and love!
Her sweet husband joined in for a portion of the shoot because it was actually their anniversary that day! She said it is what she wanted as her anniversary present. 😉
